INTERNATIONAL WHITE CANE DAY CELEBRATION PROGRAM. 30.10.2022

Dear Sir, Madam,

We wish to inform you that we are Women Blind Organization in Sri Lanka established to serve the blind women of our country immaterial of case and creed. Towards this objective we work with great dedication and responsibility to meet their basic requirements.

We have in our program great volume of agendas which are important to meet their requirements. The main factor being the upcoming white cane day event to be on 30th October 2022 where elaborate arrangement have been made to conduct this event at 10.30 A.M Divisional Secretariat Auditorium - Devinuwara.

Since this will be an important event will include the following aspects to be conducted at same venue as mentioned below.

1. Distribution of 300 white canes for the blind women's costings Rs.1000/= each.

2. Distribution of talking watch for 100 blind women's Rs. 1500/= each.

3. Awarding of Rs. 15 000/= for selected 30 blind women's to establish self employment.

4. Distribution of dry ration pack worth Rs. 4000/= each for 300 blind women's.

5. Awarding of scholarship worth Rs. 3000/= for selected 30 children's of the blind women's.
